At the BHIDAPA Academy, during the past weekend from September 12 to 14, 2025, an extended study program was held for our trainees.
As part of the specialist program in sexual health, therapy, and counseling, we had the opportunity to gain new knowledge and professional frameworks from Prof. Dr. Michal Lew Starowicz, MD, psychiatrist and sexual psychotherapist, through interactive lectures on the topic Sexuality from Adolescence to Older Adulthood.
In parallel, a module was held on the topic Mentoring Work on Draft Versions of Final Exams in Child and Adolescent Integrative Psychotherapy, with Prof. Dr. Mirjana Graovac, MD, PhD, psychiatrist and psychotherapist, as the working mentor; Prof. Dr. Dubravka Kocijan Hercigonja, MD, PhD, neuropsychiatrist and psychotherapist, as the honorary mentor; and Dr. Sc. Mirela Badurina, PhD in Health Sciences, psychotherapist, as a member of the committee.
We congratulate our colleagues on the successful completion of the final module before the final exam and thank them for their active contribution in an atmosphere that encouraged the exchange of knowledge, ethical reflection, and the integration of cognitive and emotional work in the psychotherapeutic process.
We owe special gratitude to our dear colleague, Prof. Dr. Slavica Tutnjević, PhD Psychology, who graciously gifted us with her two books: The Child at Risk: Risk Factors and Protective Factors in Child Development and Child Development from Birth to Ten Years (Banja Luka, 2025). These valuable works will remain a permanent part of the BHIDAPA Academy library and will serve as a precious resource for current and future students.

Already next weekend, we are looking forward to a new module for the defense of draft versions of the final exam by the first generation of students in the Integrative Psychotherapy program.
