BHIDAPA – EAPTI and the Academy for Psychotherapy had the pleasure of being a Silver Sponsor of the 9th Sarajevo Psychology Days and of taking part in another important professional gathering of psychologists, psychotherapists, researchers, and students from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region.

We would like to thank the organisers for the collaboration and for creating space for important professional topics, meetings, and the exchange of experiences.

Within the clinical symposium: “Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro on the Map of European Sexology: Capacity Building through Education, Clinical Practice and Regional Cooperation”, together with our dear colleagues Ekaterina Lankovskaia and Morgijana Karić Nezirović, under the leadership of Assoc. Prof. Goran Arbanas, MD, FECSM, we spoke about the development of educational programmes in sexual therapy and sexology in the region, the education of professionals, and the importance of regional networking.

Mirela Badurina presented the paper: “Development and Implementation of a Specialist Training Programme in Sexual Health, Therapy and Counselling in Bosnia and Herzegovina”.

Dželila Mulić Čorbo, coordinator of the project implemented by BHIDAPA in partnership with UNICEF and the relevant ministries in Bosnia and Herzegovina, presented the paper:
Mind the Child: Attitudes of Young People and Professionals Towards Psychosocial Support in Bosnia and Herzegovina”, within the UNICEF MHPSS project “Together for Every Child’s Mental Wellbeing: Mind the Child”.

We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to a programme that year after year opens important professional topics and connects different perspectives in the fields of mental health, psychotherapy, and psychology.

Thank you to all dear colleagues for the meetings, conversations, and support.
