With pride, we present the First Generation of Integrative Psychotherapists in Bosnia and Herzegovina—an important professional milestone marking a new phase in the development of psychotherapy practice, training, and quality standards in our country.
This cohort successfully completed a demanding four-year postgraduate psychotherapy training programme, delivered in line with the Training Standards and requirements of the European Association for Psychotherapy (EAP). Throughout the programme, participants integrated theoretical learning, clinical practice, supervision, personal development, and research, completing more than 1,800 training hours. The curriculum comprised intensive training modules, supervised clinical work, written and practical assessments, and continuous reflective work focused on ethical principles and professional responsibility in psychotherapeutic practice.
What This Generation Symbolizes
- The establishment of the integrative approach in psychotherapeutic practice in Bosnia and Herzegovina
- Strengthening professional standards and a culture of quality, safety, and ethics
- Building a bridge between science and practice, as well as between different psychotherapeutic approaches
- A professional community working with adults, couples, and families, in line with the contemporary needs of society.
