Tanja is committed to lifelong learning and continuous professional development. She graduated in Psychology in Sarajevo and completed an additional four-year postgraduate training in Family and Systemic Psychotherapy, earning the title of Family and Systemic Psychotherapist and the European Certificate of Psychotherapy (ECP). Through a further three-year advanced training, she obtained the qualification of Family and Systemic Supervisor. Her psychotherapeutic work is accredited by the European Association for Psychotherapy (EAP) and the European Family Therapy Association (EFTA).
She has also completed a two-year specialist training program for educators in family and systemic therapy and successfully finished the Externship Program in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for work with couples. In addition, she is accredited as an integrative supervisor and trainer by the European Association for Integrative Psychotherapy (EAIP). She is currently completing a European-accredited training program in Schema Therapy.
She has been working in private practice since 2014, providing psychotherapeutic and supervisory services. Her practice includes individual, couple, and family psychotherapy focused on growth and development, as well as individual and group supervision for professionals, teams, and organizations. She has extensive experience working across diverse settings, with particular interest and expertise in the education and training of professionals in the field of mental health protection. She regularly presents her professional work at congresses and conferences in Bosnia and Herzegovina and across the region.
