We are pleased to share an invitation from our colleagues at the Institute D.O.M. to a professional workshop addressing an important and contemporary topic: the application of artificial intelligence in psychotherapy.

AI in Psychotherapy

Lecturer: Associate Professor, Primarius, PhD Goran Arbanas
Date: May 5, 2026
Time: 17:30
Format: Online (Zoom)

About the Workshop

This workshop is designed to explore the possibilities and limitations of applying artificial intelligence in psychotherapeutic practice, with a particular focus on:

  • the clinical usefulness of AI tools
  • ethical dilemmas and professional responsibility
  • preservation of the therapeutic relationship
  • the role of AI in data collection and psychoeducation
  • risks such as inaccurate outputs, system “hallucinations,” and issues of confidentiality

Through concrete examples from psychiatric and psychotherapeutic practice, participants will have the opportunity to develop a critical and balanced perspective on digital technologies, with a clear distinction between technical support and the authentic therapeutic process.
