Adila Softić

Psychotherapist in Transactional Analysis

Adila Softić is a graduated psychologist with 21 years of professional experience in the field of mental health. She earned her degree in Psychology from the University of Sarajevo. European Certified Psychotherapist in Transactional Analysis (CTA) and holder of the European Certificate of Psychotherapy (ECP).

She completed pedagogical studies at the University of Zenica, qualifying her to teach psychology and pedagogy in educational institutions. She also graduated from the Secondary Medical School in Zenica as a registered nurse, which further enriched her multidisciplinary understanding of healthcare practice. Adila Softić is permanently employed at the Institute for Addictive Diseases in Zenica, where she has built extensive clinical experience in the field of addiction and mental health. She is an associate at the ICTA – Institute of Transactional Analysis (EAPTI) in Belgrade and actively contributes to psychotherapy education and professional development.

She is the founder and head of the Psychological Counseling Center “Psihoatelje” in Zenica and leads the psychological counseling service at Transcom Worldwide d.o.o., Bosnia and Herzegovina. Throughout her career, she has participated in numerous national and international conferences, congresses, and professional gatherings in the areas of psychotherapy, psychology, psychiatry, and addiction, with active contributions through oral and poster presentations. She is the author and co- author of professional and scientific papers, publications, and manuals.

In addition to her clinical and educational work, she has held significant leadership roles within professional associations. She served as President of the Organizing Committee of the First Congress of Psychotherapists in Bosnia and Herzegovina and currently serves as President of the Board of Directors of the Association of Psychotherapy Associations in Bosnia and Herzegovina (SPUBIH). She was also a member of the Organizing Committee of the Third Congress on Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy, organized by BHIDAPA. She is President of UG BIHOTA Zenica (Bosnia and Herzegovina Organization of Transactional Analysis).

She is a member of the European Association for Transactional Analysis (EATA), the European Association for Psychotherapy (EAP), and the Society of Psychologists of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where she also serves as a member of the Ethics Committee. Adila Softić is actively involved in the development of professional standards and legislation in the field of psychotherapy and is a member of the Working Group for Drafting the Law on Psychotherapy in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
