MA Miroslava Marjanović

Integrative Psychotherapist for Children and Adolescents

Miroslava Marjanović is a licensed psychologist (MA), child and adolescent psychotherapist, and an EMDR practitioner working under mentorship and supervision. She completed her undergraduate studies in Psychology at the University of Novi Sad and obtained her Master’s degree at the University of Belgrade.

She began her professional career as a school psychologist in an elementary school in Pančevo, where she worked for five years, followed by a year of professional practice in a preschool institution in Belgrade. After relocating to Sarajevo, she joined the organisation COI Step by Step, where she worked as a trainer and mentor within the Education for Social Justice programme, contributing to numerous projects aimed at improving the quality of education. From 2016 to 2023, she was engaged with the international organisation Save the Children, gaining extensive experience in the field of mental health and psychosocial support across diverse cultural and humanitarian contexts. She is also certified in the HEART programme (Healing and Education through the Arts), which she implemented within Save the Children between 2018 and 2022. She is the author of the brochure “Unpleasant Emotions and What to Do with Them”, published by Save the Children.

She is also the founder and practitioner of the registered psychological counselling centre Psihovita. In her psychotherapeutic work with children, adolescents, and adults—both individually and in group settings—she places a strong emphasis on the integration of creative and art-based techniques. Her approach is grounded in the belief that artistic expression provides a powerful pathway to emotional processing, self-awareness, and personal growth.

She works in BHS languages, as well as in English.
