Aida Brdar

Integrative Psychotherapist

Aida Brdar is a qualified social worker and integrative psychotherapist with many years of experience in the fields of mental health, social protection, and psychosocial support. She graduated from the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Sarajevo and obtained her qualification as an integrative psychotherapist at the BHIDAPA – EAPTI Academy for Psychotherapy.

She built her professional career within the social welfare system, the non-governmental sector, and international programs, with a particular focus on working with children, youth, and families. A significant part of her professional development includes participation in the Community Solutions Program in the United States, where she further developed her professional skills through direct work with individuals and groups facing discrimination and psychosocial difficulties.

In her therapeutic practice, she focuses on intrapersonal difficulties as well as couple and family relationships, fostering a warm, relational, and professionally grounded approach.

She is employed at KJU Porodično savjetovalište Sarajevo, where she provides counseling and psychotherapy for individuals, couples, and families. In addition to her institutional work, she develops and delivers professional education programs and training through her private practice.
