Membership in the European Federation of Sexology (EFS) represents an important step in the development and affirmation of the psychotherapy profession in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as a strong confirmation of our long-standing commitment to strengthening professional standards, high-quality education, and ethical practice in the field of sexual health, therapy, and counselling, in line with European frameworks.
EFS recognises sexuality as a central aspect of human life, health, wellbeing, and human rights, and promotes ethical and empathic practice free from prejudice and violence.
We understand our membership and the development of educational programmes as a contribution to strengthening competent sexual therapy practice, fostering professional networking, and enhancing visibility within the regional and European context.
As part of a European network of leading institutions and experts, we remain committed to advancing sexual health, protecting service users, and developing contemporary, scientifically grounded approaches in accordance with European standards.
