Vildana Efendić is a psychologist and a European-certified Gestalt psychotherapist with more than fifteen years of professional experience in psychotherapy, organizational psychology, and human resources management.
She holds a Diploma in Psychology from the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Philosophy, University of Sarajevo. She completed her training in Gestalt psychotherapy at the Gestalt Psychotherapy Training Institute Malta, in cooperation with Psiho-Integrum Sarajevo, and holds EAP and EAGT certificates. She is currently completing advanced training in Sexual Psychotherapy at the BHIDAPA–EAPTI Academy for Psychotherapy (expected completion by the end of 2026).
Since 2008, she has been working in private practice as a Gestalt psychotherapist, providing individual psychotherapy for adults as well as couple and relationship therapy. In parallel, she works internationally as a psychotherapist within an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) at Pulso Group, delivering online psychotherapy services in English to clients worldwide. She is also active on the online psychotherapy platform Psihotron.
In addition to her clinical work, she has extensive experience in HR management, organizational development, and leadership coaching. She has held senior HR roles in Orbico Group, Rotana Hotel Management Corporation, Coca-Cola, and the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with a focus on recruitment and selection, HR policy development, performance management processes, employee engagement measurement, leadership coaching, and HR information system implementation.
Her therapeutic approach emphasizes authenticity, a safe and supportive therapeutic space, and a strong working alliance, with a focus on personal growth, emotional regulation, interpersonal and couple dynamics, and professional development.
