Shalini is a consultant in genitourinary and HIV medicine and clinical lead for HIV in Surrey. She is particularly interested in the management of sexual dysfunctions, especially when they are related to sexually transmitted infections and HIV. He chairs the special interest group for sexual dysfunctions at BASHH. She is a member of the examination board of the Multidisciplinary Committee for Sexual Medicine (MJCSM), which sets professional standards in sexual medicine in Europe.
