Prof. dr. Larisa Velić is the dean of the Faculty of Law of the University of Zenica and the chairperson of the Senate of the University of Zenica. After graduating from law school at the Heinrich-Heine University in Düsseldorf and after two years of practice at the Supreme Regional Court in Düsseldorf, she works as a lawyer in Germany. For several years, he held the position of legal expert for the GTZ (German government organization) with the aim of reforming land administration and passing laws on real rights. He is also working on the reform of the judicial system within the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council. She is a member of the Club of Independent Intellectuals (Club 99) and the Council of the Congress of Bosniak Intellectuals. She participated in the drafting of numerous regulations in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and was engaged as an educator by the Center for the Education of Judges and Prosecutors and other domestic and international organizations. He is the author of numerous books and articles.
