Mia Komšić completed her undergraduate and master’s studies in Psychology at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Sarajevo. She obtained the title of Integrative Psychotherapist in 2025 at the BHIDAPA–EAPTI Academy for Psychotherapy.
She is currently attending a specialist training program in sexual health and therapy, also at the BHIDAPA Academy. She is employed as a psychologist at the Center for Social Work in Kiseljak, while concurrently providing psychotherapy in her own private practice and through the online psychotherapy platform “Psihoterapija.app.”
She is actively involved in projects focused on the prevention of violence against women, children, and youth and, as an external associate of the Center for Women’s Rights, provides psychological support to women who have survived violence. She is the author and co-author of professional and scientific papers in the fields of psychotherapy and psychology, with a particular professional interest in trauma, stress, and mental health.
