Psychiatry specialist, child and adolescent psychoanalytic psychotherapist, parent-baby psychoanalytic psychotherapist.
After specializing in psychiatry in Belgrade in 1997, Dr. Marija Stojkovic went to London to the Tavistock Clinic, where she trained as a child and adolescent psychoanalytic psychotherapist. She worked as a child and adolescent consultant-psychotherapist in the National Health Service (NHS) in London,
where she was also a supervisor of educators in child and adolescent psychotherapy. He qualified as a psychoanalytic psychotherapist for the parent-baby couple in 2016 at the Ana Freud Center in London. During her two decades of work in Great Britain, she taught at the Tavistock Clinic, the Center for Psychoanalytic Studies of the University of Essex, and the Anna Freud Center, where she has been leading seminars on baby observation since 2015 (and where she also led the observation module on two master’s programs until 2017). She also led the observation of babies at the Association for Group and Individual Psychotherapists (AGIP) in London. He is currently an educator at UDAPS (Association of Child and Adolescent Psychotherapists) in Belgrade, and a guest lecturer at the Tavistock Clinic in London.
