Zlatan Jovanović is dedicated to working with people through psychotherapy, literature, and teaching. He has acquired a unique integration of skills and knowledge through interdisciplinary education and experience in the fields of mental health, research, and literature. He gained his academic foundation at the University of Sarajevo, where he completed bachelor’s and master’s studies in psychology, a bachelor’s study in political science, and studied comparative literature. In his work, he successfully integrates literature, which is reflected in his rich authorial opus: he has published over a hundred short stories, essays, newspaper articles, and research reports. He is the editor of several books and publications, and the author of numerous international research projects.

His approach to psychotherapy is integrative and evidence-based, and is founded on a collaborative relationship with clients. In his work, he is guided by the beliefs that knowledge, creativity, and conversation have healing and liberating power, and that mental health is a basic human right and not a privilege.
