Karen Hillman Fried is a PhD in psychology and a licensed psychoanalytic, family, and child and adolescent psychotherapist from Santa Monica, California. She has a master’s degree in clinical psychology and human development. She is the co-director of the K&M Center for Education, which provides the 4th annual education in the field of psychotherapy for children, adolescents and parents according to the Oaklander Model. She is the president of the Oaklander Center and Foundation. She is a member of the Association of Educational Therapists and the California Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
