Final exam – integration of theoretical and clinical competencies

Module Description:

The final examination represents the concluding evaluation of the knowledge, competences, and clinical skills acquired during the specialist training in sexual health, therapy, and counselling. The exam enables participants to demonstrate their ability to integrate theoretical concepts, clinical methods, and ethical principles in working with clients. The final assessment includes a case analysis, a concluding interview before the committee, and a demonstration of clinical practice through the presentation of therapeutic work.

The module includes:

  • Written case study – a detailed analysis of a clinical case, including medical history, diagnostics, treatment plan, and evaluation of the therapeutic process.
  • Oral defence before the committee – integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills through professional discussion.
  • Case presentation – presentation of therapeutic work and reflection on the key aspects of the treatment.
  • Evaluation of ethical aspects – demonstration of understanding of ethical standards and a professional approach in clinical sexology.
  • Self-reflection and professional development – critical reflection on one’s own development through training and the application of acquired competences in professional practice.
