Module Description:
The final paper and defense represent the culmination of the educational process, enabling participants to demonstrate theoretical, research, and clinical knowledge through an integrative approach to the psychotherapy of children and adolescents. Participants create a detailed case study, including theoretical concepts, applied diagnostic methods, the development of the therapeutic process, and key turning points in therapy. The final presentation includes a video recording of a therapeutic session with key turning points in the psychotherapeutic process, which ensures a practical demonstration of therapeutic competencies.
The module includes:
- Writing the final paper (case study) – a structured case study with the integration of theoretical and clinical findings.
- Research aspect of the paper – analysis of relevant literature and application of research methods in clinical psychotherapeutic practice.
- Therapeutic process and progress evaluation – analysis of key changes in the client through therapeutic work.
- Video analysis of the therapeutic session – identification and reflection of the key turning point in the therapeutic process.
- Ethical and professional reflection – raising awareness of boundaries, challenges, and ethical aspects of working with clients with different mental health difficulties, with a critical analysis of professional responsibility and a supervisory perspective.
- Public defense before the commission – presentation of the final paper, evaluation by the mentor and commission members, feedback

Competencies
Upon completion of this module, graduates will be qualified to:
a) Independently create and present a case study, in accordance with professional psychotherapy standards.
b) Professionally analyze the therapeutic process with reflection on key therapeutic turning points, connecting theoretical and professional aspects.
c) Critically integrate theory, research, and clinical practice, with the application of contemporary standards for assessment and intervention.
Knowledge
Upon completion of this module, graduates will have acquired:
a) A deep understanding of the structure and methodology of creating a final paper in integrative psychotherapy.
b) Knowledge of clinical evaluation processes, including differential diagnostics and supervisory reflection.
c) Knowledge of ethical norms and professional standards in working with clients with different mental health difficulties.
Skills
Upon completion of this module, participants will have developed:
a) The ability for precise clinical analysis and reflection of therapeutic work, with the integration of therapeutic modalities.
b) The skill of presenting and arguing for theoretical and clinical findings before a professional commission.
c) The competence to analyze key moments of change in the therapeutic process and to reflect on therapeutic interventions.
Assessment of Knowledge and Competencies:
The module is assessed through:
– Writing and submission of the final paper (a case study with a detailed analysis of the therapeutic process).
– Presentation of the case study before a three-member scientific and professional commission.
– Video analysis of key moments of the psychotherapeutic process and reflection on the applied interventions.
