Module Description:
Clinical practice represents a key segment of the education in psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and their families, enabling participants to apply their acquired theoretical and professional knowledge and skills in real therapeutic processes. This module provides an opportunity for working with clients under professional supervision, developing clinical skills, conducting therapy sessions, and documenting cases. The focus is on gaining experience in diagnosing, planning, and leading the therapeutic process, while integrating supervisory guidance.
The module includes:
- Direct work with children and adolescents – individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
- Application of diagnostic methods – assessment of clinical cases and formulation of therapeutic goals.
- Creation and implementation of therapeutic plans – structuring and adapting treatments to the individual needs of clients.
- Documentation and management of clinical records – keeping session notes, assessing progress, and evaluating interventions.
- Interdisciplinary collaboration – working in multidisciplinary teams, collaborating with other professionals (psychiatrists, educators, social workers).
- Supervised practice – reflection and analysis of one’s own work with feedback from a supervisor.
- Ethical dilemmas and professional boundaries in clinical work – development of a responsible approach to working with children and adolescents.
Learning Outcomes:
Competencies
By the end of the module, students will be qualified to:
a) Professionally plan and lead psychotherapeutic processes with children and adolescents.
b) Apply clinical assessment methods and therapeutic interventions.
c) Professionally document therapy sessions and client progress assessments.
Knowledge
By the end of the module, students will have acquired:
a) An understanding of the key elements of the psychotherapeutic process when working with children, adolescents, and their families.
b) Knowledge of diagnostic and evaluation methods in clinical practice.
c) Familiarity with ethical standards and professional norms in clinical work.

By the end of the module, students will have developed:
a) The ability to structure therapeutic plans and assess clinical cases.

Assessment of Knowledge and Competencies:
The module is assessed through:
– Report on clinical work and case analysis
– Presentation of therapeutic plans and outcome evaluation
– Supervisory evaluation of work with clients
