0.5 ECVET/ECTS / EQF level 7 / 2nd year of training
The final thesis and its defense represent the culmination of the educational process for trainers. Through this module, participants demonstrate the integration of acquired knowledge, skills, and competencies in the education of psychotherapists. The thesis is based on personal professional development, experience in delivering education, reflection, and evaluation of the educational process.
The final thesis should include both a theoretical and a practical component related to the development of trainer identity, educational approaches, learning facilitation, and reflective practice. Participants prepare a written paper and present it before a committee for the purpose of evaluating professional competencies and the ability to independently conduct education.
Learning Outcomes
Competencies:
By the end of the module, participants will be able to:
a) Independently produce a written final thesis that reflects the trainer competencies acquired.
b) Present and defend key insights before a professional committee.
c) Integrate theory and practice in the analysis and development of educational practice.
Knowledge:
By the end of the module, participants will have acquired:
a) Knowledge of the preparation and structure of a final thesis in the field of education.
b) Insight into the application of research, reflection, and evaluation in the educational context.
c) Understanding of the process of academic and professional presentation.
Skills:
By the end of the module, participants will have developed:
a) Skills in producing a coherent and academically grounded paper.
b) The ability to present and argue before a professional committee.
c) The capacity to evaluate and improve their own educational approaches.
Assessment of Knowledge and Competencies:
The module is assessed through:
- Written final thesis.
- Presentation and defense before a professional committee.
- Reflective analysis of the learning and development process.
