Module Description:
This module covers key ethical principles and professional competencies that form the foundation of a trainer’s work in the field of psychotherapy education. It provides insight into the codes of ethics of relevant European and national associations, with an emphasis on responsibility, boundaries, integrity, and professional transparency in the role of educator.
Through the analysis of ethical dilemmas and practical examples, participants will be trained to recognise and respond appropriately to challenges that arise in educational and supervisory contexts, including power dynamics, conflicts of interest, and boundaries in professional relationships.
The module includes:
- Ethics in adult education and the trainer’s role.
- Professional responsibility and integrity.
- Ethical codes of the EAIP, EAP, and national associations.
- Ethical dilemmas in the educational context.
- Boundaries and power in trainer work.
- Transparency, privacy, and confidentiality.
Learning Outcomes
Competencies:

Assessment of Knowledge and Competencies:
The module is assessed through:
- Case study analysis and written reflection.
